'Pounce with Taps | Low Impact Strength Exercise | Angel of Mud Fitness'

'From the pounce position, meaning on all fours with our weight mostly on our haunches, we alternate picking up our hands to tap our shoulders and feet (shoulder, shoulder, foot, foot). The goal is to avoid wobbling by anticipating the side-to-side shift, and actively squeezing our thighs and core to hold our body still in the middle position. This adds extra resistance to one thigh at a time. Use your mind to activate these muscles BEFORE you need them. These are BIG muscles working, so you will likely feel the burn 20 seconds into the round. Increasing your breathing to get extra oxygen to these muscles so that you do not gas out and break form before the round is up!
